B | CONDITIONS OF PLAY
1. The Championship shall consist of 36 holes, played over a period of two [2] days.
2. Each team shall consist of five [5] players. Team members shall play off a maximum handicap of 27.
3. The four [4] nest nett scores on each day of the Championship shall be the team scores for event one [1] and two [2].
4. All five [5] team Stableford scores on each day of the Championship shall count for event three [3].
5. All competitors in events one [1] to fourteen [14] inclusive shall be ordinary members of the club.
6. Social members shall be eligible to win for event fifteen [15]. There shall be a separate daily trophy pool for social members.
7. No player shall be eligible to win more than one [1] trophy in events four [4] through fourteen [14] inclusive and including and ‘sponsors trophy’.
8. In the event of a tie in the individual gross Championship, there will be a sudden death play off on selected holes until decided. All other events shall be decided by count back.
9. Selected holes in the event of a tie in event four [4] shall be determined and advertised prior to the commencement of the Championship.
10. Tournament grades shall be calculated by the committee each year with equal division of handicap of attending competitors into three [3] grades.
11. The perpetual trophies shall remain at these currently available, ie. events one [1], two [2], three [3], four [4], five [5], fourteen [14] and fifteen [15].
12. No readjustment of handicaps shall occur for the Championship rounds; however readjustments shall be done for the daily events.
13. Players are eligible to compete for the Veteran’s Trophy [event 14] after having attained the age of 60 years and above.
14. In the event that a ladies course par is different to the men’s course par, the scores will be adjusted accordingly.
C | CALCUTTA
If any host State conducts a ‘CALCUTTA’ during the course of any Australasian Championship, that any charitable donation to be made from the prise pool of said ‘CALCUTTA’ be restricted to no more than 10% of said pool. This is to ensure that no les than 90% of subscriptions to said ‘CALCUTTA’ remain available as the prize pool, in order to be paid as dividends to the successful bidders.
D | CONDITION OF FULL FIELDS
The host State will minimise its participation to team members, life members and committee before excluding interstate players once the maximum number of players is reached as determined by the host Golf Club’s Captain.
