This year we are changing a few things up.
- Monday and Tuesday Matchplay will be a shotgun start at approx. 8.00am
- Monday night dinner will be pizzas around pool area in resort (BYO Drinks) this replaces bbq and bowls
- Breakfast Monday and Tuesday will be Egg and Bacon Roll with juice/tea or coffee at the golf club (therefore no need to have cooks getting up early)
- 2 Al’s Cup Vic state shirts available for purchase $20.00 (subsidised by FRVSGC) $50.00 thereafter if not purchased in first year. Please find attached sample of shirt (Victoria is top sample)
Dates: Sunday 1st March to Wednesday 4th March 2026.
Day Shifts are ADDC
Accommodation: Two bedroom or One bedroom rooms. The two has a double, 2 singles and 1 pullout and sleeps 4. The one has 1 double and 2 pullouts and sleeps 3.
Breakfast: Breakfast Monday and Tuesday will be Egg and Bacon Roll with juice/tea or coffee at the golf club (therefore no need to have cooks getting up early)
Dinners: Sunday night – Sports Club Bistro ( voucher to be collected from Cam Colliver on Sunday afternoon )
Monday night – Pizzas and drinks around pool area in resort (BYO drinks)
Tuesday night – Presentation Buffet (poker competition after dinner and presentations)
Golf: Sunday – 2 Vic with 2 S.A. 4BBB where possible.
Monday and Tuesday – Matchplay for the 2 Als Cup
Only GA Handicap golfers to play matchplay. Social Golfers play stableford. GA Handicap available through FRVSGC.
Cam Colliver ( Vic ) and Steve Hann ( S.A. ) will be running all matters golf.
Cost:
Golf: $200 includes 3 days golf, dinners and prizes. (Please note green fees have gone up this year)
Golf Shirt: 2 Al’s Cup Vic State Shirt $20.00 (subsidised by FRVSGC) $50.00 thereafter if not purchased in first year. Please provide shirt size when booking. Ideally need shirt sizes by 9th January.
Accommodation:
Sunday arrival (3-night stay) is $ 260. Breakfast Monday and Tuesday included. Saturday arrivals incur a $ 20 surcharge per room.
If coming up early on Saturday (4-night stay) cost is $ 340 per person.
Total cost: 3 nights accommodation, golf and 2 Al’s Cup state shirt $480.00
4 nights accommodation, golf and 2 Al’s Cup state shirt $560.oo
Payment: Collection of all monies (Golf and Accommodation) via FRV Social Golf Club. Full payment due by 13th February or before. Waiting list will be offered places after this date.
All participants must be fully financial FRVSGC 2026 members.
The Vics and South Aussies are managing the accommodation. It is first in best dressed re rooms. If you have a group of 3 or 4 fantastic. If not, the Committee will place you where there are vacancies.
